Wherels is in an excellent location in a quiet street but within easy walking distance of the centre of Haarlem and also the railway station. Our room was charming with a large comfortable bed and a lot of thought had gone into providing all the little necessities and luxuries which make all the difference to your comfort. Tea (lots of varieties) coffee and biscuits were provided, and a nice touch was the wine and glasses attractively presented in a basket. There were also a TV, DVDs and CDs, although we had such a full and active holiday, including trips to Utrecht and Den Bosch, we did not need to make use of those. The en suite shower room had all kinds of toiletries one might need. Rieneke was a kind and friendly hostess, always ready to help with information and advice, (eg she printed off our boarding passes for us for our flight home) and she provided what must be the best breakfast in the Netherlands - huge selection of food and thoroughly delicious! We enjoyed every minute of our holiday in Haarlem and a large part of that was our luck in finding the ideal B&B.

After cycling 50 miles on a warm day we arrived ready to relax. Clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet but centralstreet but . V. Steep stairs that seem to be a feature in Holland, but we managed OK . New bathroom for the downstairs - en suite shower upstairs. The highlight was the wonderful breakfasts. Everything you could wish for. Friendly hostess who helped with maps and advice. A great little break was had by all.
